Nihonbashi Nagato (Kuzumochi)






This is a Kuzumochi (a kudzu starch cake), it made from Japanese arrowroot.
I love Kuzumochi with Kinako (soybean flour) like these pics.
This shop has a long history, they presented their dessert to the Tokugawa Shogunate.
Kinako had a richly flavored but whole taste of Kuzumochi was lightly seasoned.
